1. Hi-Fi Coffee Bar

I was sold as soon as I saw the moose and the vintage Pac-Man

If you’re a fan of all things retro, Hi-Fi Coffee Bar is a must-visit. This quirky gem is filled with vintage collectibles, vinyl records (that you can buy!), and an unmistakably whimsical vibe. From the large moose head on the wall to the carefully curated retro decor, Hi-Fi Coffee Bar is as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the taste buds.

Located near the iconic Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, this café is the perfect stop before or after a seaside stroll. My suggestion is to enjoy a breakfast sandwich while soaking up the vintage vibes. After, grab an iced latte to go and explore the boardwalk, featured my list The Best Things To Do in Myrtle Beach.

Why It Stands Out:

  • Locally sourced beans from independent roasters along the Carolina coast
  • Vinyl records available for purchase
  • Convenient location near the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk

2. Grand Strand Coffee Bar

The Sweet and Spicy Latte is my go-to favorite!

Tucked away just off Kings Highway, Grand Strand Coffee Bar offers a quieter, more refined coffee experience. This café prioritizes quality, featuring high quality ethically sourced beans and carefully crafted drinks. Their other location is inside Market Commons and has a cute patio area out front.

Their signature lattes are always a hit, perfect for both coffee connoisseurs and curious sippers. My favorites are the Sweet and Spicy Latte and the Busy Bee Latte. The Italian sodas, especially topped with whipped cream is a surprising delight.

Additionally, they have an ever changing seasonal menu so you’ll always have something new to try. Grand Strand Coffee Bar is the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle, whether you’re in town for business or leisure. This is one of my top favorite coffee shops in Myrtle Beach, and I’m sure it can be one of yours too.

Why It Stands Out:

  • Ethically sourced coffee from renowned growers
  • Unique options on both their signature and seasonal drinks menus
  • Sophisticated, relaxed atmosphere

3. Black Rifle Coffee Company

A unique find in Myrtle Beach is Black Rifle Coffee Company. Its a national brand, but don’t let that stop you. The Myrtle Beach shop is the only one in South Carolina, and it’s worth a visit for locals and visitors alike. Founded by a former Green Beret, the café honors its military roots by offering discounts to military members, police, and other service professionals.

Inside, you’ll find a sprawling, inviting space with extra-comfy couches in the center and plenty of smaller tables for remote work or catching up with friends. One of the standout features? Dogs are not only allowed, but genuinely welcome inside, making it an ideal stop for pet owners.

I tried the Maple Spice Latte made with smoked bourbon beans, and it was absolutely delicious—the perfect blend of smoky, sweet, and spiced. With a laid-back, community-oriented vibe, Black Rifle Coffee Company brings something special to the Myrtle Beach café scene.

Why It Stands Out:

  • Signature Maple Spice Latte with smoked bourbon beans
  • Dog-friendly environment—pups are welcome inside
  • Military, police, and service member discounts
  • Cozy seating with plush couches and plenty of space to relax or work

4. Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii

This table is a new favorite work spot for me! I’m obsessed

Not a local company but definitely worth a visit, Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii brings an authentic Hawaiian coffee experience right to Myrtle Beach. I tried the Hazelnut Hula Latte—a decadent combination of caramel, dark chocolate, and hazelnut—and it was absolutely delicious.

Inside, you’ll love sinking into one of the comfy chairs or gathering around the high-top table that looks like a sandy beach with ocean waves, making the space feel fun, relaxed, and perfect for unwinding. The breezy, beachy atmosphere ties it all together, setting the tone for a true Myrtle Beach coffee adventure.

Why It Stands Out:

  • Cozy, comfy chairs perfect for relaxing solo or with friends
  • High-top table designed with a beach and ocean wave motif
  • Breezy, laid-back Hawaiian and beach-inspired décor
